When we were at Ted's sister's,
Carlaine's, at Xmas, we happened to pull out some of the memorabilia
of their Mother's, one of her college yearbooks. Somewhere towards
the back, a newspaper clipping had been saved. This item memorialized
a meeting of the local chapter of the American Association of University
Women. While the date had been cutoff, we could tell from the subject
matter that this was a Kensington paper, probably from the fifties.

But we also saw an unexpected, startling detail beneath the photo
and caption, an article headed,
"Homewood
Mrs. Betty Wears
LOckwood 5 4211".
This naturally raised questions about the circumstances that brought
these two names together in the newspaper.
