Find the newspaper or is juxtaposition meaningful?

When we were at Ted's sister's, Carlaine's, at Xmas, we happened to pull out some of the memorabilia of their Mother's, one of her college yearbooks. Somewhere towards the back, a newspaper clipping had been saved. This item memorialized a meeting of the local chapter of the American Association of University Women. While the date had been cutoff, we could tell from the subject matter that this was a Kensington paper, probably from the fifties.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But we also saw an unexpected, startling detail beneath the photo and caption, an article headed,

"Homewood
Mrs. Betty Wears
LOckwood 5 4211".

This naturally raised questions about the circumstances that brought these two names together in the newspaper.
