The fascinating thing about these little tidbits is the annotation of events
in our family life that we don't otherwise have. It's a reminder
of the value of a "diary" or a journal from any key family
member that can let us know how the ordinary took place. Here are
visitations by grand-mothers or -fathers, cousins, friends —
births, birthdays, deaths, memorials, and the infinite and exquisite
in-between events that make our lives.
