The excerpts shown already, mention
the Hogans, the Holmes and many other familiar names. The papers
naturally reflect local politics of the era (Lane, Tydings, Beall,
Lee etc.) as well as community personalities. I had forgotten that
Mr. Daymude had been Mayor.
Many of Ted's friends and classmates are mentioned in the Kensington
Junior High articles. But there are also the notes about Judy Ebner's
birthday party and about the Van Pools.
Indeed Mr. Van Pool was a featured "Neighbor to meet"
in Jan. 1950.
